In the name of truth, I must confess without shame that within me exists the consciousness of God, the sound of God, the voice of God. Yes, within me exists the Son of God and he exists in you too, no matter who you are or where you are from.

The Son of God is closer to us than the breath in our lungs. Indeed, he is closer to us than the blood in our veins. If however we forget him, he who is eternally enmeshed with us will appear as though he were a galaxy away. Distance is a matter of forgetfulness, proximity is a matter of mindfulness; it is a matter of remembrance.

'Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”:' Ecclesiastes 12:1

Certainly, when I was caught up in the spirit of Don Julio tequila, dancing with an aim of seducing innocent women, the son of God was within me but forgotten. Unmistakably, when I would bedazzle myself with expensive garments, with an aim of making women gaze at me in desire and men, envy, God was within me but forgotten.

It is good to remind us at this moment that God is not found in this place or that place, this group or that group, this book or that book. No, God is not found in this race or that race, these people or that people, God can only be found inside of YOU. To find him, one must first remember him.

"....though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. ' Acts 17:27-29

Indeed, when Paul stood on Mars Hill, declaring to the 'pagan' men of Rome that they were equally offspring of God, they had not yet been 'baptized', neither were they 'Israelites'. God didn't send Paul to a foreign people, he sent Paul to his children who had forgotten who they were; He sent Paul to remind them; He sent Christ to remind them.

Everything outside, reflects who we are inside.

REFLECTION

When one remembers God, one can gaze upon a stone and the light of God within them can so reflect upon that stone that they can say "this is God". Yes, when one remembers God, one can gaze upon a book and the light within them can so reflect upon that book that they can easily say "this is God".

Really and truly, if one gazes upon any object with a heart of sincerity and remembrance, it will reflect the light of God back unto them and they will be blessed by it. It doesn't matter if this object might be a piece of bread and wine, it doesn't matter if it is a book, a person, a statue, a painting, a dance or a song. It does not matter.

It's not about giving or not giving offering, it's about a heart that remembers God in all that it does, a heart that is mindful of God. It is better to give $1 in pure love and sincerity than to give $1,000 believing that we are 'givers' and God now owes us. That $1 will yield much grain but that $1,000 will bring debt to us. Let us remember the parable of the widow's mite.

Anyone who is generous, and in their generosity, believes he deserves generosity in return is not generous at all but is a creditor. A person who in their generosity, subconsciously puts others in their debt, will search for generosity from others and will not find it.

When we don't find it, our pride will unveil itself and we will curse God and others saying "after all I did, is this my reward?". I cannot count how many times God has highlighted such reasoning in my heart. Honestly, I have been more of a creditor than I have been generous. Daily however, God has been changing and improving me.

True generosity does not recognise itself as being generous. A truly generous person will barely ever say or think that "I am generous". This is because true generosity is as natural as breathing or blinking. One can go 20 hours without noticing their respiratory process.

That which is natural is not noticed, only that which is unnatural is noticed. We don't notice our blood flowing through our veins until there is an unnatural flow of blood. When there is too much flow here or too little flow of blood there, we feel a 'sensation'; we take notice. One only notices that which is unnatural, that is why 'beautiful' only exists where there is ugly and vice versa. When everything is the same no one notices anything.

True generosity is generous, it does not try to be. It doesn't expect anything in return because it doesn't try to give anything. It just gives. There is no generous person who does not in turn receive generosity. Generosity will become natural to us when we remember God from moment to moment, instant to instant. It is something we grow into, it doesn't just come in an instant.

He who performs the Holy communion, reads the Bible 7 times, performs the greatest charity, but does these things while forgetting their God will gain nothing. He who reads a single verse or gives a single penny with deep remembrance and mindfulness of their inner Father will gain so much; so much.

'You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.' Isaiah 26:3

God is not found in bread and wine, neither is he found in the most profound epistles or scriptures. There is no scripture in this universe that can contain God, it does not matter the religion. God is not found in things made with human hands, even if the crafting of those things were inspired by him. God can only be found inside of oneself.

He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”' Luke 17:20-21

Indeed, when the light of God shines from inside us out, everything becomes our teacher and everything inspires us to aspire to the loving and compassionate nature of our creator. When we forget God, everything around us reflects our own imaginations and selfish desires, everything inspires and propels us to be more like what we already are.

When we are fearful we see fear everywhere we go. Indeed, a warm hand of generosity can be confused as a ploy to have us let our guard down. Believing this, we lash out violently at the kindness of our innocent helper, leaving that helper hurt, confused and insulted. Indeed, the fearful heart does not remember God.

It's good to say that it is possible that a kindness could really be a ploy and our fearful heart might discern it quicker than the average person. This doesn't change that fact that fear does not exist in love. Love is the greatest discernment, its verdict always seeks to build and not destroy. Fear discernment is not discernment at all. That a broken clock tells the correct time twice a day does not mean it is a working clock.

When we are jealous we translate every action of our spouse into a crime. Certainly, the jealous man or woman, in fear of losing what they believe to be their property, become very aggressive and possessive whenever they feel this 'property' to be slipping from their grasp. What manners of crimes have been committed against one's 'lover' in the name of Jealousy? Jealousy is a child of fear, not love.

Indeed, a jealous heart does not remember God.

To remember God is to remember his nature, it is to remember his character, it is to remember his compassion, it is to remember his love. The word "remember" is a joining of the words "re" which means "again", and "member", which means "a part of". To "remember" God means to make his nature, his mind, his character, "a part of ourselves again and again and again".

When one remembers God, TODAY ARE WE IN PARADISE. Heaven is a dimension possessed by beings who are 'consistently' in remembrance and mindfulness of God. Heaven is simultaneously a place and a state of mind, heaven is a frequency. It is not something of the past, neither is it of the future, but heaven is RIGHT NOW for any who tune to the frequency of God. It has nothing to do with time but the state of our hearts.

'Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”' Luke 23:42-43

Indeed, the thief thought he was asking the Christ to remember him but did not realize that in doing so he was the one 'remembering' the Christ. Haha, how could the Christ forget him? Christ being on the cross was evidence that he was mindful of the thief. God is always mindful of us, that is why he is always with us. It is we who forget God, that is why we feel far from him.

If we however remember him, in that moment we are instantaneously translated into his presence. The more we 'continue' to remember him, the more of his presence do we become aware of. The greek word 'hemeron' translated as 'today', literally means 'right now!', in this very moment, in this very instant!

We ascend to heaven when we are in tune with his nature, we descend from heaven when we fall out of tune with his nature. Water and oil do not mix, no matter how close they are. The carnal nature cannot inherit the kingdom of God because it is antagonistic to it. They repel each other by nature.

'But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.' James 1:25

Indeed, continuity is what matters; perpetuity is what matters; FREQUENCY is what matters. The good I did in 2017 is good but better is the good I am doing right now. The good I am planning to do in 2022 is good but better is the good I am doing right now.

The future does not exist, the past does not exist. All that exists is this present moment. In this moment what are we doing? Are we remembering our father who art in heaven?

When one remembers God, one can see a woman about to be stoned for harlotry and embrace her, rather than condemn her. When one remembers God, everything around them reflects God unto them, everything becomes precious.

It is for this reason that people in different religions and cultures give their children names related with God. The original idea was to consistently 'remind' themselves of his presence and treat everything and everyone as though they were treating God himself. This is why Jesus said:

'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ ' Matthew 25:42-45

Indeed, when the light of Christ beams from us, everything around us reflects this light back unto us. We then become amazed how something as simple our hearts, which powers our entire body in silence, teaches us about the consistency and humility of God.

One sees the eyeballs, the nose and the lips and praises it everyday. One sees the thick chest of a man, the plump breasts or derriere of a woman and praises it everyday. Of what value however, would any of these things be if the heart stopped beating? Indeed, the true king is the humble foundation upon which all stand. The chief amongst all is the servant of all said the Christ.

When we forget God and walk around perceiving the world through our selfish imaginations, even The Bible, which has facilitated the arising of life and transformation in many, can become a book of death and deeper slavery.

'who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.' II Corinthians 3:6

The problem is not the Bible or a witch's grimoire, the problem is a heart that forgets God and perceives the world through the lens of "me, myself & I".

How many mass murders were initiated by the Roman Catholic church 'in the name of Jesus'? How many black slaves were whipped by white slave masters whilst quoting passages from Ezekiel and Isaiah? Up till now, many still read the books of Isaiah and Ezekiel and see only a mad and vengeful God.

'Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”' Matthew 15:11

Indeed, a darkened heart will only perceive a darkened world. What we are looking for is what we always find. Some countries of the world are able to transform sewage into drinking water, others are able to transform drinking water to sewage. A forgetful heart can turn the most beautiful moment to ashes, a remembering heart can turn a moment of tears to great beauty.

We need to remember God from moment to moment, from instant to instant. This is what it means to be spiritual. There have been times when i've found myself deeply offended by this or that person and immediately want to return ashes for ashes. In such moments I hear a still voice in me say "My son, compassion is power; love is power".

"Arghhh, what do you mean?" says I "Do you not hear what he/she said? Do you not see what he/she did? How can I take this?". I hear him again respond "My son, compassion is power; love is power. To love is to give, love will always cost you something".

Indeed, the Hebrew word 'Ahava', translated as 'love', literally means 'giving'; literally. That is why it is written:

'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ' John 3:16

I must confess that more times than not I have rejected the price of love. I have had many "Am I Jesus?" moments. More times than not I have forgotten:

'By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. ' I John 3:16

Sometimes this 'life' to be laid down could be our patience, it could be our forgiveness, it could be our time, it could be our money, yes, it could be our very lives in this body we presently inhabit. That we give does not mean we love, but true love always gives. It loses something that another may gain and it derives true joy from being a living sacrifice.

Indeed, only by remembering God can we overcome the wiles of the enemy. Indeed, only by remembering God can we experience heaven. The time to experience heaven is now, the time to remember God is now. The degree to which we experience God, heaven, is the degree to which we remember him.

My friends, let us begin to remember our God from moment to moment; instant to instant. In times when we feel blessed, in times when we feel cursed. Remembering God always offers us a fresh perspective on life. Remembering God is what transforms us. God bless!
