We live in a time when the cross is least heard of, when the passion of the Christ is only spoken of as someone else's story. As though we are not meant to partake of the passion with him, as though we are not meant to get up on that cross and die with him. Many love to identify with the roaring lion but seldom do we identify with the sacrificial lamb. Humility and sacrifice is disgusting to the carnal mind but dominion and power is his wine. He does not know that only from death can life spring, he does not know that the power of the lion is rooted in the sacrificial blood of the lamb.
'Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. ' John 15:13
'By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. ' I John 3:16
The heart of love is built upon sacrifice. It is not possible to have love that is not intermingled with sacrifice. Love must cost us something and be a gain unto another. The carnal mind, the "me, myself & I" who is only concerned about what he can receive, can never understand these words. We do not expect him to. He will read these texts and say to himself "this writer has gone perfectly mad, his madness is complete". Little does he know that he is the mad one, he is the cancer cell of nature, the little yeast which corrupts the whole dough.
Imagine a world in which all of humanity was solely concerned about giving to their neighbour, will anyone lack anything? Its unfortunate the carnal man, the "me, myself & I" does not understand the sacred law of polarity, he does not understand that to gain one thing you must reach for its opposite. If we desire love we must give it, if we desire forgiveness we must give it. In order to be filled we must first empty ourselves, we must be hungry.
Observe those who's aim it is to be wealthy, they are the ones who always feel poor no matter how much they gain. Their feeling of inferiority is infinite; this is why millionaires chase billions and billionaires, trillions. Those whose desire it is to be loved by all are the ones who feel the most unloved by all. Thus, these so called 'men and women of fame' sink into depression and become married to tequila and brandy. Cocaine and xanax become their comforter because after all the fame they have acquired, they still feel unknown by everyone, they still feel unloved by everyone.
Listen: “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. ' Matthew 16:24-25

THE CROSS
The cross is not just one man's story, the cross is not just some historic event, no. The cross is HERE and NOW. The story of the cross is evident in everything God has made, only if we have the eyes to see. Only if we looked very closely and observed that nature itself is a sacrificial lamb.
The world that God has made is built and sustained upon the back of reciprocal sacrifice. Creation is sacrificial because the creator is sacrificial. We, who read these texts, have our physical existence built upon the carcasses of thousands of plants and animals who gave their bodies as life unto us. Those plants and animals in turn have their physical existence built upon the sacrifices of other beings. The minerals sacrifice their life unto the plants, plants unto animals and we, ultimately will donate our bodies to the maggots of the grave in order to contribute to nature's continuity.
Continuity, eternity, is built upon reciprocal sacrifice, we must understand this. Eternity is established upon the cross. The creator sacrificing to creation and then creation, in turn to the creator. It is an infinite loop of love, an ancient mystery which is now being unveiled in this time. Everything about everything is rooted in the cross, the point of convergence, where birth and death meet; the kiss between heaven and earth, the place of the matrimony.
Of course the creator of the world revealed himself as a lover. Of course he, through his life, taught love to be naught but compassionate sacrifice. Of course he taught that every end is a beginning and every beginning an end. Christ the Lion-lamb, came to make Lion-lambs. He came to make them through the cross, he came to make them through the fire.
The end of one form of existence is the beginning of another, this is the law. Nothing in the world God has made truly ceases to exist, it only converts from one form to another. The earthly becomes the heavenly and the heavenly the earthly. Death in itself is not just an end but a beginning of something. Birth in itself is not just a beginning but an end of something.
The "fires" of God which we read of throughout the bible burn unto a work of destruction, yes, but few know that the fires of God also burn unto a work of production. There is no one who comes unto God that does not go through the fire, that does not go through the cross. It is designed to kill something and birth something, few have understood this. The consuming fire of God is rooted in love and salvation. The fire of God is his greatest act of mercy not vengeance. It is the carnal man in his vengeful nature who has misinterpreted the fires to be one of hatred.
Make no mistake, that the fires are rooted in love and compassion does not make them any less dreadful. Oh no, it is more dreadful than we imagine, dreadful only to the sinful man for it is only he who perishes in the fire. The heavenly man, the Christ nature within us, rejoices at the sight of the flame; for within it lies his liberation. The carnal man is the 'hay, stubble and wood' that is engulfed in the flames. The heavenly man is the gold which is born from the flames.
I am in this moment instructed to narrate an inner experience I had some years ago; an experience which served as a teaching which I could not at that time comprehend, but am able to now. I was caught up to the heavens by the might of two majestic angels, who's names and appearance I remember all too well but will not mention here. I must testify in spirit and truth that I was brought before the court of heaven, before the heavenly Sanhedrin. In that place I beheld one at the centre of this hall who sat on a throne made of pure gold. His appearance was nothing but light seated upon a throne. On his left and right hand were multitudes of beings who had the form of men, enveloped in fire.
The one who sat on the throne gave a command and I witnessed some angels come toward me with sponges made of fire. They proceeded toward me, stripped me of my clothing and scrubbed my body with these sponges of fire. In the name of truth I must confess that the pain I felt was incredible but shortly after, the pain turned into an unbelievable joy. I saw my skin peel off and beheld a new skin of raw gold rise to the surface. What transpired after this I am not permitted to say but I trust that we can, by the spirit, extract the teaching within this short narration.
The process of transformation is painful to the carnal nature but after the work is complete, what proceeds after is an ineffable joy of the spirit. The birth of the new nature, who, in love his gives life as a sacrifice for his neighbour. The journey to Golgotha teaches this beautifully and we shall investigate it in detail as we proceed.
There is no one who ascends who does not first descend. There is no one who becomes the highest that is not first the lowest. Remember Joseph and the pit, Daniel and the den, Jonah and the whale, Jesus and the belly of Hades. They all serve the same symbol. No one can rule in heaven if they have not first seized the authority over hell and death within themselves. We must, like Daniel, shut the mouths of the lions of lust, pride, envy and greed. We must descend into our own abyss and confront our inner Goliath with the might of the Spirit.
The cross is a symbol of death but it is also a symbol of life, for it is upon the carcass of the old man that the new man arises. The cross kills one thing and begins another. The cross is a symbol of the old nature that is slain within us, the cross is also a symbol of the life we give as a sacrifice unto the world. This, we must say, is first an internal thing.
Its unfortunate the carnal man, the "me, myself & I" does not understand the prophetic unveiling of Einstein which states that 'energy is neither created nor destroyed, but converted from one form to another'. This is why the carnal man is afraid to die, believing death to be the end of his existence in itself.
Anyone who understands basic science will know that everything that exists really is light, in different states of transformation, densities and octaves. Matter is nothing but light, energy condensed. Einstein understood that the Christ, the light, fills and pervades everything. He just communicated this mystery in a different language. E=MC2 is a divine mathematical formula which at a later time we shall go deeper into, for in it is hidden the mystery of union and sacrifice.
Its unfortunate the carnal men of science could not comprehend this, so they took a formula of life, of union, and used it to create death and divorce. They created the dreaded atomic bomb which brings death by separating the nuclei of atoms, by divorcing atoms. They did this instead of bringing life and usable energy like the sun, which generates power by uniting atoms together, by matrimony. Foolish men of science, little wonder why Einstein said "science without religion is blind, religion without science is lame".
The very sun which powers our solar system is built upon the power of union and sacrifice. When four nuclei of hydrogen are merged together by the gravitational pressure in the sun's core, they form one atom of Helium. In the process of the union, energy is released, sacrificed and given unto us as light and heat.
Undeniably, every ray of light that nourishes us brings death unto the sun, which, in its fulmination will ultimately burst asunder in an event called a supernova. The closing act of a sun is the most powerful and sacrificial phenomenon to witness in nature. Out of the nebulous clouds dispersed from the explosive death of a sun, comes the birth of many more suns and planets. The closing act of a sun is the passion of the Christ, the light, the sun of righteousness.

Little wonder why Jesus said: 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. '
He who hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit is saying. The carnal man thinks the life he lives now in the flesh is all that there is, he is completely incognisant of the superior dimensions and aspects of nature. He has atrophied and exhausted his superior senses, he is of no difference from a cow save his ability to reason. He knows nothing of the 'Shamayim' of the Hebrews, nothing of the 'Ouranos' of the Greeks. Thus, due to his ignorance, he clings tightly to the little world that he knows, he grasps his life so dearly and denies others his blood that they may live on his account.
Listen, The Christ has appeared to make Christs. The Son has appeared to make sons. The Servant-King has come to engender Servant-Kings. It is not only the son who dies for the sins of the world. Everyone who must follow the Christ must also pick up that same cross and die on it daily that his neighbour may have life.
At this point let us state in a crystal clear manner that we are not in this moment speaking of an external life and death but an internal one. Yes, its a beautiful thing if one sacrifices their physical life for their neighbour. Much more profitable it is however if one, by the spirit, puts to death the old man within, the "me, myself & I", that another might profit from his life.
"What does this look like?" some may ask. It looks as simple as genuine compassion, sacrificing your need to be understood that you might understand another. Compassion which develops through communion with the Father and experiencing his compassion firsthand.
It looks as simple as forgiving a person who has broken your heart and allowing that substance of forgiveness express through your actions. The heart of forgiveness, which crystallises in us as a result of experiencing the forgiveness of the internal Father.
It looks as simple as sacrificing your time, money, knowledge or property that another who is in need may have it and be blessed. A man is only blessed if he is a blessing unto others. Everyone has something to give, no one is truly destitute. This new nature, the new state of being is only developed through direct experience and firsthand knowledge of the Spirit. It is from here we receive our fuel and energy to drive forward.
We must say that the Lord is not far away. The only chasm that divides man from his inner father is ignorance and a heart which continues to seek that which does not profit. "Me, myself & I" will forever be an obstacle to hearing the voice of God. Every man can and ought to commune directly with the Father within. The Father is always speaking and as we progress, we shall discuss how to cultivate our environment in order to enable us hear the voice of our inner Father. To hear the voice of the Christ within.
All of this begins at the feet of the cross and we will, over the course of time, go in depth into the story of the cross and unveil the different characters and elements and how they relate with us. The next post will be concerning the infamous "Judas Iscariot". We shall dissect this character according to our present level of understanding. We shall see, through the scripture, what "Judas Iscariot" represents within every single one of us.
Feel free to share thoughts, questions and comments below. If you have been blessed, do well to invite a brother or sister so they might also be blessed and partake on this journey.
Shalom!

"Much more profitable it is however if one, by the spirit, puts to death the old man within, the "me, myself & I", that another might profit from his life."
Those were the words that caught my attention deeply. In otherwords one MUST sacrifice the old man within for the new man to be birthed.
How beautiful it would be to achieve such energy like the sun, its fusion, its sacrifice and ultimate death just o birth life abundant. Extraordinary. I like that these conversations engage mental, spiritual corners of being. Thank you, Rabbi EL,
It is amazing how the law of conversation plays out in all of creation. There is really no beginning or ending, everything is a continuum. The cross is a symbol of death but it is also a symbol of life. Still contemplating on this article...
Yes, Ouranous is the sky. Beyond that however, the ancient men used the ‘sky’ as a symbol to describe the higher realms of nature. They used the ‘seen’ to describe that which is ‘unseen’. The wedding of Ouranos and Gaia, heaven and earth are not physical stories. Jesus said ‘let it be done on earth (Gaia), as it is in heaven (Ouranos). Ouranos is a masculine name, while Gaia is feminine. On a level, Ouranos is Christ, our true husband and we are Gaia the bride who must mirror the will of our husband. We must bear his name, we must carry his nature. This, on a level, is what it means to let it be on earth as it i…
I really find it fascinating that you mentioned "Ouranos" who represents the sky and "Gaia" who represents the earth and in text, they are married, therefore showing that separation of these two is an illusion.
This write up has a lot to it that I must sit down and process.
I'll be rereading this and I'll probably leave another comment.
Thank you for this.
Stay blessed
